My bloglines folders sum up my online shenanigans. And look, they are all nearly read.
It would be nice if it stopped snowing now. I'm fed up with it, Zoe is fed up with it, the world is fed up with it. I wasn't made for this weather. Excuse me while I go put another layer on and try out my over the knee socks.

remember remember remember.
the whole of last month passed by in a blur of mess. not good mess. the mess of life. death, and shock, and loss, and sickness, and chemo appointments for the brother, and just complete weirdness.

and this month has started off with my frequent inability to remember to breathe. or maybe it's not remembering, maybe it's just that i physically feel like i am choking sometimes. i will wake up gasping. or i will be walking somewhere and just not take that next breath, my body is so shocked by it, it takes an involuntary gasp which will make the taking the next breath even more difficult.
i'm sure this is a symptom of life. of something. of maybe possibly, insanity?

either way. i turn 26 on sunday. 26 with the worst hair cut of my life to date. well, maybe not. one time i had a perm... i might show pictures one day. or maybe not. because when me and dan were dating, and i showed him, he literally cringed and said, "oh. i don't really want to be seeing these, you look so different. it's weird."
which is always a nice thing to hear.
but the point... what was the point? the point was. i must breathe. we must all breathe. we must take one step in front of the other and take the next breath. maybe we will forget one here or there, but as long as you are able to keep walking... well, it is okay.

i can not recommend this cookbook enough.
i love cookbooks. really. i have one pot cookbooks, the healthy jewish cookbook, multiple cupcake cookbooks, japanese, italian, vegetarian, blah blah blah.
but this one, beats them all. every recipe i have tried so far is a keeper. they are all ridiculously quick to throw together, full of healthy fresh ingrediants, and delicious.
and the photos in this book are beautiful. i won't lie, they are the reason i picked it up in the first place. i just got lucky the food is gorgeous too.
as i say, if you are on the hunt for easy peasy yummy recipes, this is the book for you.

beds with dips in the middle, early morning wake up, tuna and rice make-do puppy food, driving, vanilla custard muller rice, a call from barnardo's, boy jeans, rain, 2 loads of laundry to count, bon iver, getting motivated, hambly and fabric, 5 questions, waiting on results, scottie on a windowsill, attempted email blitz, mini twister, gossip girl catch up, headache headache go away, planned home made pesto pizza, magazine scraps, waiting on a phone call, dirty paintbrush water, miniture minis...tuesday so far.
